God wants to bring is reformation, not revolution

  What we cannot have is a revolutionary spirit coming into the Church. Charlie Kirk Fatally Shot During Utah Valley University Event


OREM, UTAH – September 10, 2025 — Conservative activist and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was fatally shot while speaking at Utah Valley University during his “American Comeback Tour.” He was 31 years old.

Authorities say the shooting occurred at approximately 12:10 p.m. MDT while Kirk was participating in a live Q&A debate session. Witnesses reported a loud crack before Kirk clutched his neck and collapsed. He was rushed to the hospital, where he later died from a gunshot wound.

Investigation Ongoing

Law enforcement confirmed the shot was fired from an elevated position about 200 yards away. A person of interest was briefly taken into custody, but investigators have since clarified that the suspect remains at large. The FBI is assisting in the investigation, which authorities are treating as a politically motivated attack.

Reactions Pour In

Tributes and condolences have poured in from across the political spectrum. Former President Donald Trump called Kirk “a true patriot and a legendary voice for America’s youth.

Donald Trump mourned Kirk’s death, saying: “The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!”

Student organizations, including Texas A&M’s chapter of Turning Point USA, have already announced plans for candlelight vigils in Kirk’s honor.
